GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING!
We are excited to announce that the musical scholars from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership and Language Magnet Academy have been invited to perform at the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Nonviolence Community Fest! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to honor Dr. King’s legacy through music and community engagement.
Under the guidance of our talented music teacher, Mr. Smith, the students will perform at two locations:
• 9:30 AM at Little Rock SouthWest High School, alongside Little Rock’s own The Voice contestants and National Recording Artist Mac Royal
• 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Network of Believers, alongside Gospel artist Melvin Williams, performing “Cooling Water.”
We invite you to come out, show your support, and join us in celebrating the talents of our students and the spirit of Dr. King’s message of nonviolence and unity.
Sincerely,
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership and Language Magnet Academy
