*Tomorrow, May 14th is the last day to turn in envelopes for field day concessions. We must pre-order food for this event. Envelopes are due by 12 noon to the office.
*We are in need of volunteers. We can not have a successful field day without volunteers. Please click on the link below to sign up. We especially need help during the lunch shifts.

Today was Reading in the Rock distribution day!!! Students in grades K-5 had an opportunity to select multiple books to take home for summer reading!! Readers are leaders!!

On Tuesday, May 6, OCE hosted a STEM Walk Parent & Student Engagement event! Students and families participated in various stations playing games, creating, and having fun!! Thank you to all who came out to make this event a HUGE success!!!

Otter Creek Elementary won 3rd place, out of 20 schools, in the LRSD Rotary Reading Ladder Challenge!! Our top readers had over 1,000 minutes of reading and completed over 100 books!!! Thank you Little Rock Rotary After Hours and Wes Manus who presented a check for $150 to OCE Library Media Specialist, Ms. Courtois-Lawrence! Plans are to use the funds to buy books for the school library!

It's almost time for National Teacher Appreciation Week........................
Good evening Otter family,
We’ve noticed an increase in lunches being dropped off at the office and food being delivered through services like DoorDash for students. While we understand the desire to provide your child with their preferred meal, managing these deliveries has become increasingly difficult for our office staff and creates challenges in the cafeteria, including issues with food sharing and student requests.
We kindly ask that you either pack a lunch for your child or take advantage of our school cafeteria, which offers lunch at no charge to all students.
Please note: We will no longer accept food deliveries (such as DoorDash) for students.
If your child has dietary restrictions that cannot be accommodated by our cafeteria, please provide medical documentation from a physician.
You are always welcome to join your child for lunch and may bring food at that time.

Field Day T-Shirt orders are due Friday, April 24th @ Noon. No other shirts can be ordered after the deadline.
Please look for Field Day Concession Envelopes to come home this week. The last day to order is May 14th.
