LRSD achieves significant milestone based on latest ATLAS assessment results/cut scores. Div. of Elem&Sec. Ed at ADE announced that LRSD has surpassed the performance threshold outlined by the State & will no longer be required to participate in quarterly Act 1082 check-ins.

Out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with surrounding districts, LRSD’s Safety and Security team, First Student Transportation, and the National Weather Service, LRSD will close schools and offices on Thursday and Friday, January 9-10, 2025, due to anticipated inclement weather. Forecasters predict significant freezing/snow conditions moving into our area starting tomorrow. All athletic events are also canceled. In making weather-related decisions, LRSD prioritizes the safety of students and staff.
LRSD staff, please monitor your emails for additional instructions from our Human Resources Department.

A very special day dedicating the Malin Opitz Outdoor Classroom at Jefferson Elementary. This new space will serve as a lasting tribute to Malin and a place where students can gather, learn and celebrate the spirit of our school community. Please take a moment to look at the work they have created. The form includes free stickers with your child's art printed on it. This is a great way to give personalized gifts this season and raise money for your Jefferson Art program.
