Big surprise at FHSA today! 🎉 Mr. Scarborough, executive director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Commission, brought guest visitor Romeo Miller to our campus. They stopped by several classes, took photos with students and staff, and even recorded a special video for a student’s mom—his biggest fan! This was Romeo’s second visit to FHSA, and our students and staff loved every minute. We are so grateful to Mr. Scarborough and the MLK Commission for bringing these amazing experiences to our school!

Game on! Ms. Carruth’s 8th grade Physical Science students learned about electron behavior while designing and playing the Electron Valence Game! They put their science skills to work by counting valence electrons with system formulas.

✨ Yesterday, we welcomed guests from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art into several of our middle school classrooms as part of the Crystal Bridges School Partnership Pilot Program. They had the opportunity to observe our visual arts–integrated lessons and see firsthand just how talented and amazing our students are. 🎨👏 We are so proud of the creativity and hard work our Eagles are showing every day! 🦅

Good Evening Eagle Parents, Here are a couple of morning drop off reminders: Tardies and Absences: • Counts began today • Students may begin exiting cars at 7:05 a.m. •The first bell rings at 7:35 a.m. •The tardy bell rings at 7:40 a.m. •Students arriving after 7:40 a.m. will be marked tardy. Reporting an Absence: •If your child will be out due to illness or an appointment, please report it to the attendance secretary- Latoya.Gray@lrsd.org by 12:00 p.m. Tardy Check-In Procedures: •Kindergarten–4th grade: Parents must come inside to sign their child in if they arrive after 7:40 a.m. •5th–8th grade: Students may sign themselves in and may also sign in younger siblings. Thank you for helping us build strong routines so our Eagles can be on time and ready to learn!
