🎉 It’s Time to Pick Up Your Yearbook! 📚📸

We’re so excited to finally get our yearbooks into your hands—it’s time to relive all the memories, smiles, and special moments from this school year!

Yearbooks will be available for pickup on the following dates:
Tuesday, July 29 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday, August 5 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

📦 Non-returning families who are unable to pick up during these times will have their yearbooks mailed.
📘 Returning families who can’t attend either pickup date will receive their yearbooks during the first week of school.

Sealed for Success: LRSD's New Electronic Device Policy sealed Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, a new Arkansas law—The "Bell to Bell, No Cell Act"—is going into effect. This bill requires schools to strictly limit student use of personal electronic devices during the school day. This applies to cell phones, tablets, personal laptops, smart watches, Bluetooth earbuds, and other personal electronic devices. This new policy is designed to minimize distractions and foster a better learning environment for students by limiting cell phone use during the school day. FHSA will also be sharing more details soon about how we’ll be using the pouches here at our school.

Dr. Robinson Forest Heights STEM Academy 5th Grade- About Dr Robinson- r. KorTasia Robinson is excited to begin her 11th year in education and her first year teaching 5th Grade Math at Forest Heights STEM Academy. Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, she earned her Doctor of Education from Walden University, focusing on leadership and equity in education. Dr. Robinson is passionate about helping students grow in confidence, especially in math. She loves making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful—and she believes every child can be successful when they feel supported, challenged, and seen. Outside of the classroom, Dr. Robinson is a proud mom to two amazing daughters—Londyn, an 8th grader, and Khloe, a 5th grader—as well as a playful Yorkie named Bubbles. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exploring new ideas, and cheering her girls on in everything they do. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she continues to serve her community through scholarship and sisterhood. Dr. Robinson is so excited to partner with families this year and can’t wait to get to know you and your child. Let’s make it a year full of learning, growth, and success—together!

Mrs. White Forest Heights STEM Academy 5th grade, About me- Hello, I am Mrs. White and I am so excited to be joining Forest Heights! This will be my 6th year teaching. I am originally from Louisiana, but have lived in Florida for the last 4 years. In December 2023, I got married to my amazing husband. We made the decision to move to Arkansas to be closer to his family and mine, and we are so thrilled to be here! When I'm not teaching, I love to sing at our church, cuddle with my two cats, and spend time with family. Game nights with them are my absolute favorite! I'm really looking forward to meeting so many amazing families at Forest Heights, making new memories, and helping your children grow.

Mrs. Waldron, Forest Heights STEM Academy 5th Grade. About me- My name is Jodie Waldron, and I am so excited to join Forest Heights Stem Academy, teaching 5th Grade Science/Social Studies and Literacy Word Study/Morphology! This will be my twelfth year as a classroom teacher. My husband and I live in Little Rock and have three awesome daughters - two in middle school and one in high school. We also have two dogs and a cat! I love to read, travel, and go on walks. My family, students, and the entire school community are very important to me. I look forward to a great year and can’t wait to make fun, lasting memories with my students as they learn and grow!

Ms. Pace Forest Heights STEM Academy 3rd grade. Fun Facts- I love listening to audiobooks, hanging out with my family, and shopping. My goal this year is to read at least 20 books before December, and I’m halfway there. About me- My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education, and I also have my masters in Gifted and Talented Education. During the summer, I always teach the Summer Laureate University for Youth STEM program at U.A.L.R., and I’m excited to be joining the staff and Forest Heights STEM Academy!
