Attention Parents/Gruardians: Scholars were informted that entry to the Homecoming game is free of charge pending the the scholar has no ISS, OSS, (from Jan21-Feb 9)or removal of class today. If you are not attending the game with your scholar, Please provide pickup by 7:30 p.m. If you are unalbe to provide pick up by 7:30 students must take original mode of transportation at dismissaL (4:00P.M.) We look forward to see you tonight to cheer on our Bobcats basketball teams!!

Homecoming 2026 update: We had so many amazing scholars submit Nomination packets for Homecoming. The committee met today and voting will look a little different than expected. We are SO excited to bring homecoming to our Bobcats this year, and we will be celebrating with the theme MARDI GRAS!
Here is a quick rundown of what's to come:
*Homecoming court packets are due to Ms. Adams or Coach B by February 4 at 4:00 PM
*Homecoming Spirit Week is in full effect (Follow the Spirit Week flyer!)
*Students will cast their vote for their grade level winners on February 9th during their 6th period class.
*Homecoming Pep Rally will be on Monday, February 9th from 2:40-4:00 (We will be on activity schedule)
*Homecoming Royalty will be crowned February 9th at 5:00 PM before the first game

LRSD wants to hear from you! The Little Rock School District is inviting parents, students, staff, and community members to join upcoming community meetings focused on the FY27 budget. These conversations are a chance to learn more about district priorities, ask questions, and share feedback before final decisions are made. The first meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Rd). The second meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Henderson (401 John Barrow Rd). Both meetings will cover the same information. Come be part of the conversation as we plan responsibly for the future of LRSD.

Students enjoyed inspiring speakers, hands-on activities, and an exciting visit from the DREAM 2K Robot, all designed to encourage them to dream bigger and embrace future opportunities in technology.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our very first Golf Clinic at Dunbar Magnet Middle School for students in grades 6–8! During Open House, several students expressed strong interest in learning the game of golf—and we are proud to offer them this unique opportunity.

The Golf Clinic will be a 4-week after-school program, designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of golf, promote sportsmanship, and encourage fun physical activity. All skill levels are welcome!

As the Golf Club Lead, I, Mrs. Robinson, will be your point of contact for any questions or updates.
