Parent Teacher Student Association

The Central High School PTSA - a member unit of both the State of Arkansas and National PTA - is a volunteer organization that proudly supports staff/teachers, our students and our school programs.

2019-2020 PTSA Meetings Dates and Times

All meetings are on Tuesday and are held in the School Library unless otherwise indicated.

PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2019-2020 theme "Look Within" We believe this creative theme will spark imagination and creativity in school and at home. Encourage your school to imagine, create and celebrate with Reflections during National Arts & Humanities Month this October.

Create an Original Work

Only new and original works inspired by the theme: "Look Within" will be accepted. Enter in one or more of the following arts categories, but only one submission per category may be entered per student.

  • Dance Choreography

  • Film Production

  • Literature

  • Music Composition

  • Photography

  • Visual Arts

Students may enter as many categories as they wish and may submit multiple entries in a category.   Entries will be judged at our school and CASH prizes awarded. Winners will be submitted to the State Contest. First place state winners will be submitted to the national contest. Central has had many state and even national winners!

Details are available here and hard copies will be available in the Reflections notebook in the LRCH Main Office.

All entries are due in the Central Office by 4:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2020.
